Dr. Darm Pets, Adopt a Pet in Honor of 'Bear'

The Oregon Humane Society has started an adoption campaign for 'Bear', a 2-year-old Golden Retriever mix that had been abandoned on the street and arrived at the shelter with a severe skin infection.

A dog named Bear arrived at the Oregon Humane Society looking as bad as a dog can look: a severe skin infection had resulted in the loss of nearly all his fur. After more than two weeks of medical care at OHS, things are now looking up for the two-year-old golden retriever mix. OHS is now launching a special adoption campaign in Bear’s honor.

The adoption fees for each of the dogs and cats shown below have reduced adoption fees from April 12th through April 30th. Take 25% off the price shown to get their new "Bear's Buddy" adoption fee.

Even if you do not adopt one of Bear's Buddies, just mention the name "Bear" during the adoption process and get $5 off your new pet's adoption fee.

Or, consider donating to Bear's Doggie Dash web page. Although Bear can't make it to Doggie Dash, he will be there in spirit -- and you can be, too.
