Dr. Darm Pets, 63rd Annual Be Kind To Animals Poster and Story Writing Contest by the OHS

The Oregon Humane Society is inviting Oregon students to participate in the poster or short story writing contest as part of their mission. Winning posters and stories are displayed in the shelter Education Hall, on the OHS website and are featured in the OHS quarterly magazine. Posters and stories may also be used to promote events and shelter programs.

All entries must be received on or before March 23rd, 2012. This is an exciting opportunity to promote humane treatment and appreciation for animals, connect young people to a community outside of the classroom, align a meaningful project with Oregon state standards for the Arts & Language Arts, and enrich any character education curriculum.
